Though Chevy had delayed the production of the 2021 Tahoe earlier this year, the brand finally started rolling these models off the assembly line this summer. There are quite a few reasons to be excited about this new model.
For starters, this large SUV comes with seating for seven or nine people depending on the configuration. It also has 122.9 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. There’s an available Bose® premium audio system — which is perfect for music lovers — as well as an optional power sliding center console for more storage options. Plus, the available 15-inch Head-Up Display keeps you up to date on the go, while Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ provide phone connectivity.
The Tahoe is also designed to be capable. The Z71 edition specifically comes with an Air Ride Adaptive Suspension for a more comfortable ride, 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and red tow hooks to help get you out of any precarious positions. You can choose between a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 or a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8, the latter of which has an impressive 420 horsepower and comes standard on the High Country trim. A Duramax® 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel is also available.
You’ll also find a suite of safety systems on the 2021 Chevy Tahoe, which has a standard Automatic Emergency Braking system to help prevent frontal collisions. There’s also a Following Distance Indicator, Auto High Beams, optional Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keep Assist.
