Chevy’s new MyWay service lets you virtually try out a new vehicle from the convenience of your living room. When you sign up for a tour, a product specialist will show you around the vehicle of your choice. You can schedule a tour ahead of time or log on and see what is available. The tours use live video and audio feeds to let you get a good look at the car or truck you are interested in. You can ask questions during the tour or sign up for a test drive at Sour Lake Chevrolet.
Live tours were first introduced in 2019 for the Cadillac brand, but Chevy MyWay goes a bit further. In addition to vehicle tours, you can see prospective Chevrolet vehicles and listen to GM racing experts at virtual auto shows. You can also join a group tour rather than a one-on-one session.
Chevy MyWay is available in the Eastern United States seven days a week. You can book a tour online from 9 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Sour Lake Chevy is excited about this new virtual offering from Chevrolet. But we still think the best way to experience Chevy vehicles is to get behind the wheel yourself. Stop by our dealership to test-drive the shiny new Chevy you’ve been daydreaming about.
Most pickup trucks can either be powerful or fuel efficient. However, the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is aiming to change that with the available XFE Fuel Economy Package. With this package, it can help maximize your fuel economy, while still giving you the performance you want.
The XFE Fuel Economy Package gives the Chevy Silverado a premium soft roll-up tonneau cover. This not only helps protect your cargo, but it reduces drag that is often created from an open truck bed. This increase in aerodynamics gives the Silverado a boost in efficiency with an EPA-estimated 20 mpg combined and 24 mpg highway*.
In addition to the tonneau cover, this package also includes 18-inch Bright Silver painted wheels and all-season tires. The total price for this package is $850. This package is also not available with the Max Trailering Package, Z71 Off-Road Package, or Convenience package. You cannot get any other options with the Fuel Economy package.
This package is available on the Silverado 1500 LT trim with the Short Bed and Crew Cab body. It also requires the 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and 2WD. This powertrain combination has an output of 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque.
Call us at Sour Lake Chevrolet to learn more about the XFE Fuel Economy Package or another available add-on that the Silverado 1500 offers. We’re here to help you get the most out of your Chevy truck
For starters, this large SUV comes with seating for seven or nine people depending on the configuration. It also has 122.9 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. There’s an available Bose® premium audio system — which is perfect for music lovers — as well as an optional power sliding center console for more storage options. Plus, the available 15-inch Head-Up Display keeps you up to date on the go, while Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ provide phone connectivity.
The Tahoe is also designed to be capable. The Z71 edition specifically comes with an Air Ride Adaptive Suspension for a more comfortable ride, 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and red tow hooks to help get you out of any precarious positions. You can choose between a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 or a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8, the latter of which has an impressive 420 horsepower and comes standard on the High Country trim. A Duramax® 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel is also available.
You’ll also find a suite of safety systems on the 2021 Chevy Tahoe, which has a standard Automatic Emergency Braking system to help prevent frontal collisions. There’s also a Following Distance Indicator, Auto High Beams, optional Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keep Assist.
